Singer to Perform Two Shows at Tivoli Ristorante in West Chicago September 14 & 15
Frank Lamphere To Perform Two Shows in September at Tivoli Restaurant in West Chicago September 14 & 15
Crooner Frank Lamphere will be bringing his nightclub act to Tivoli Ristorante in West Chicago this September. Two shows are planned at the upscale Tivoli on Route 59 where Frank and his sextet performed at the grand opening last Fall.
The "grand" bar area in Tivoli has the warmth and grandeur of a nightclub of the past. A main focal point of the room is an acoustic baby grand piano. The elegant bar teamed with the dark furnishings, original artwork (not to be missed) by owner Tom Fawell Sr. and the beautful wooden dance foor will be an ideal compliment to Frank's style of performing; classy and swinging!
Frank Lamphere, is an established recording artist and live performer on the local jazz scene. Among his many professional credits are a six month engagement at the Peninsula Hotel in downtown Chicago, writing and headlining the big band production "A Tribute To Ol' Blue Eyes", and is well known as the tuxedo clad crooner that frequently leads his Rat Pack Jazz Trio at Jilly's in Naperville.
Currently playing host to celebrated Chicago vocalist-pianist Judy Roberts on her farewell tour, Tivoli, has earned a reputation as a serious musical venue and as serving some of the Western suburbs' best upscale Italian food. Reservations will be required as the two shows are expected to sell out. On the two dates, Frank will be accompanied by his youthful and high powered Rat Pack Jazz Trio. The members are: drummer and publisher of Chicago Jazz Magazine Mike "Downtown" Jeffers, sensational pianist Ben Dockery, and the ever steady Mike Daly on the upright bass.
